PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, an image processing method and a program enhancing individual recognition accuracy in individual recognition processing of a face in an image.SOLUTION: An information processor comprises: dictionary management means for grouping feature patterns including feature amounts of a plurality of parts in face areas of subjects extracted from image data according to each subject, and managing them in a dictionary used for recognition of the face area; further grouping means for determining whether or not a feature amount of each part in the face area of a subject is further grouped, and further grouping, when the further grouping is determined to be possible, the feature amount of the target part into a plurality of groups to make them as new feature amounts; and updating means for updating the dictionary when the further grouping is executed by the further grouping means, by making a feature pattern incorporating a new feature amount of the target part and feature amounts of the parts other than the target part managed by the management means as a new feature pattern for identifying the subject. |
