PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to reduce a burden on a user related to secure settings.SOLUTION: In installation processing for installing, to an information processing apparatus, a device driver for controlling an image forming apparatus having at least two modes of a normal mode and a secure mode as an operation mode during printing based on print data, when a connection form between the information processing apparatus and the image forming apparatus is a network connection (S130:YES), a user is required to select an operation mode in default (S150). By contrast, when the connection form is a local connection (S130:NO), the operation mode in default is automatically set as the normal mode. In an information processing apparatus installed with a device driver, an operation mode in default is set according to the connection form. |
