PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a vent plug for a tire vulcanization/shaping mold that rubber hardly flows out into a vent hole, and to provide a tire vulcanization mold.SOLUTION: A vent plug 10 for a tire vulcanization mold includes a plug holder 12 mounted on a vent hole 2 of the tire vulcanization mold 1 and having a hollow aeration part 11, a plug head 13 fitted into the aeration part 11, and energization means 14 for energizing the plug head 13 from the aeration part 11 toward the mold 1 inside. The plug holder 12 includes a taper-shaped seating part 15 having the inner diameter reduced gradually toward the mold backside, and the plug head 13 includes a taper-shaped head part 21 having the outer diameter reduced gradually toward the mold backside and fitted with the seating part 15, and a planar lid part 23 provided on the mold inner surface side end of the head part 21, having a larger outer diameter than the head part 21, and blocking an opening part on the mold inner surface side of the aeration part 11. |
