NANOFIBER PHOTONIC CRYSTAL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanofiber photonic crystal that can be easily produced and can be improved in design flexibility.SOLUTION: A nanofiber photonic crystal 1 is configured to include: an optical functional member 20 having a light-transmitting rugged structure formed on the surface thereof; and a nano optical fiber 10 having an optical waveguide part 11 having a diameter equal to or smaller than a wavelength of propagation light. The nano optical fiber 10 is laid on rugged structures 22, 23, at a position where a near field nf generating when light propagates in the optical waveguide part 11 overlaps with a part of the rugged structures 22, 23.
