PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide easy and accurate measurement of PLP.SOLUTION: A measuring method of pyridoxal phosphate comprises preparing an enzyme source which is a seed of at least one kind of plants selected from the group consisting of barnyard millet, foxtail millet, wheat, barley, rye, oat, hulless, millet, rice, bean, adlay, sorghum, amaranthus and quinua, bran thereof, or a combination of these; contacting the enzyme source with glutamic acid in a sample solution comprising a test object to produce γ aminobutyric acid; and measuring the amount of the γ aminobutyric acid. |
