<p>The present invention provides a tubular non-woven fabric which is made from a non-woven fabric material consisting of synthetic fibers or natural fibers, and which is seamless in a circumferential direction and has a length that extends up to the length desired by a consumer when the tubular non-woven fabric is made from the non-woven fabric material, such that the fabric can be widely used as various filters or pipeline repair members. The present invention also provides an apparatus for manufacturing the tubular non-woven fabric. According to the present invention, a seamless tubular non-woven fabric material having no limitations on the diameter and length thereof is continuously stacked and wound into a screw shape so as to form a tubular non-woven fabric, and the fibers that constitute the non-woven fabric may be woven into a single body by needle punching. The apparatus for manufacturing a tubular non-woven fabric comprises: a non-woven fabric material winding and tubular non-woven fabric unwinding unit, including a drum for winding the non-woven fabric material into a tubular shape and unwinding the material, and two rotating drums having anti-slip protrusions formed thereon for moving the non-woven fabric material; and a needle punching unit arranged on the drum and including a support plate having needle holes for enabling the fibers constituting the non-woven fabric material to be removed from the needle, and a needle-fixing member for fixing needles for weaving fibers into the non-woven fabric material. According to the present invention, the tubular non-woven fabric has a length that extends up to the length desired by a consumer, thus solving the inconveniences of the prior art of having to wind the non-woven fabric material into a tubular shape and sew or adhere either end thereof together, and maximizing quality and productivity. Thus, poor construction when laying pipelines can be prevented. The manufacturing apparatus of the present invention may provide tubular non-woven fabrics, the diameters of which vary depending on the diameter of the drum. The non-woven fabric material is wound into a tubular shape by a drum and formed into a single body by needle punching. Particularly, the non-woven fabric material is continuously supplied in a screw shape such that a seamless tubular non-woven fabric that has a length that extends up to the length desired by a consumer can be manufactured.</p> |
