PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wooden house from decaying due to moisture, growing mold and being eaten away by termites.SOLUTION: In a termite proofed house (1) with a termite proofed foundation section and a termite proofing method applied to the foundation section of a house, a termite proof layer (13) is formed on a surface of a wooden member (for example a lumber girder (6), a column (7), a stud (8) and a brace (9)) above a foundation (4) by treating the same with a first termite repellent (for example a boric-acid termite repellent). In addition, concrete (for example a foundation (3)) and the wooden material (for example a short pillar (5)) beneath the foundation (4) are treated with a second termite repellent containing an absorbent (for example the boric-acid termite repellent containing charcoal powder). |
