PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a semi-solidified metal capable of suitably controlling the solid phase rate.SOLUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a semi-solidified metal 1 comprises: a heating device 13 for heating a metal material 101; a container 21; a cooling device 23 for cooling the container 21; and a molten metal pouring device 5 for pouring the heated metal material 101 into the cooled container 21. The container 21 comprises: a hollow member 31 which constitutes a wall part of the container 21, in which both upper and lower ends are opened and into which the metal material 101 is poured from an upper opening; and a bottom member 33 which blocks a lower opening of the hollow member 31 and constitutes a bottom part of the container 21. Further, the cooling speed of the metal material 101 by the bottom member 33 is faster than the cooling speed of the metal material 101 by the hollow member 31. |
