PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service providing system and a service providing method for providing service in cooperation with one another.SOLUTION: Provided is a service providing system in which an application mounted on an information processing apparatus is connected with a cooperation processing apparatus, and capable of providing service using electronic equipment connected thereto. The service providing system comprises: equipment information acquisition means in which the application acquires information specifying electronic equipment from the pieces of electronic equipment connected to the system; and service providing means in which the application, the cooperation processing apparatus, and the electronic equipment provide in cooperation with one another the service using the electronic equipment specified by the information specifying electronic equipment acquired by the equipment information acquisition means, by a cooperation method defined by the application from one or more cooperation methods for providing service. |
