PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall panel fitting method and a wall panel fitting structure in which construction is made easy and stability in quality is enhanced.SOLUTION: A wall panel fitting method includes: a fitting mounting process for mounting a fitting 7 on a lower stage panel P2; a lower stage panel installation process for fixing the fitting 7 to outside of a backing steel material 6 with a bolt 11a and a nut 11b; a self-weight receiving fitting mounting process for mounting a self-weight receiving fitting 9 for receiving self-weight of an upper stage panel P1 on the backing steel material 6; and an upper stage panel mounting process for fixing the upper stage panel P1 to the fitting 7. The fitting 7 has: an upper stage fitting part 21 on which the upper stage panel P1 is mounted; a lower stage fitting part 23 on which the lower stage panel P2 is mounted; and a flange fixing portion 22 positioned between the upper stage fitting part 21 and the lower stage fitting part 23 to be fixed to backing steel material 6. The fitting 7 is bent so that the flange fixing portion 22 is swollen to inside of the upper stage fitting part 21 and the lower stage fitting part 23.
