A liquid crystal display device (300) and a drive method therefor. The liquid crystal display device comprises a plurality of data lines (302), a plurality of gate lines (303), a plurality of common electrode lines (304), at least one imitation gate line (307), a plurality of gate line trigger circuits and a plurality of common electrode line trigger circuits; wherein one end of the last gate line (303) is connected to the last gate line trigger circuit; one end of each of the remaining gate lines (303) is connected to the gate line trigger circuit corresponding thereto, and the other end thereof is connected to the next gate line trigger circuit; the first common electrode line trigger circuit is connected to one imitation gate line (307), and the remaining common electrode line trigger circuits are connected to the previous gate line trigger circuit or circuits thereof. The liquid crystal display device (300) can effectively reduce the influence of time delay on charging time.
