The window- or door element has an edge (1) and a window- or door wing arranged in the edge. The wing frame (2) is compatible with the internal profile of the edge. A locking unit fixes the window- or door wing against the edge during closing the window- or door element. The edge is arranged smooth on its outer side (14) and the plane surface is arranged parallel to vertical axis of the window- or door element. A reinforcement element (13) is arranged on the wing frame and is firmly connected with the flat surface present at the outer side. Another reinforcement element (15) is connected with the edge. The two reinforcement elements overlap such that an overlap region is formed. The former reinforcement element rests with its front side at the rear side of the latter reinforcement element. |
