The present invention relates to a latching device of a steering column for a vehicle comprising a cam which is operated by driving a tilt bolt connected to a moving gear which is geared or separated with a fixing gear of a side of a tilt bracket fixed to a mounting bracket. Provided is the latching device of the steering column for the vehicle comprising a matching member which guides and matches the gearing movement of the moving gear.
