The stator (5) has as a ring segment or cylindrical segment provided with a return element (11), where the return element is directed inwardly towards stator teeth (7). The return element includes a segment angle between 180 and 320 degrees, where the stator teeth include tooth heads spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction. Identical sheet metal laminations are arranged to form the stator, where non-conductive isolation masks are provided at end faces of the stator.
