PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination method of radioactive material capable of effectively decontaminating the radioactive material even at a low pressure without using detergent.SOLUTION: Hydrogen peroxide solution is sprayed to a part having an adhering radioactive material, the part is left for a predetermined time, and then, the part is cleaned with water or hydrogen peroxide solution. The caked radioactive material is made releasable by the hydrogen peroxide solution. The radioactive material contained in the cleaning water with which the part having the adhering radioactive material is cleaned is adsorbed to an adsorbent containing at least one selected from a group consisting of chaff, chaff charcoal, and rice straw. |
