A flexible display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent pattern arrangement error of a switching element by using an arrangement pattern. A flexible display device(1) includes a substrate(10), a plurality of switching elements(5) and an arrangement pattern(100). The substrate has a flexible property. The switching element includes a gate electrode, a gate line, a gate insulation layer(30), a channel layer(40), a data line(57), a semiconductor layer, and source/drain electrodes(53a,53b). The gate electrode is formed on the substrate. The arrangement pattern is formed on a same layer to the gate electrode. The gate insulation layer includes the gate electrode and the arrangement pattern and is formed on the substrate. The semiconductor layer is formed on the gate insulation layer. |
