A solar cell and solar module with improved moisture resistance are provided. A solar cell (10) is provided with a photoelectric conversion unit (20), an n-side electrode (21b), and a p-side electrode (21a). The photoelectric conversion unit (20) has an n-type surface and a p-type surface. The n-side electrode (21b) is connected electrically to the n-type surface. The p-side electrode (21a) is connected electrically to the p-type surface. The amount of Na in each of the n-side electrode (21b) and the p-side electrode (21 a) is 20 ppm or less.
