<p>An apparatus for combining a liquid and a gas includes a pump 12 for circulating the liquid in tank 10 which includes means 11 for maintaining a constant liquid depth d, liquid from the pump 12 being delivered to the nozzle 1 of an injector pump 17 having a gas inlet 23, the gas liquid mixture being returned to the tank 10 by a mixing pipe 20.
