摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To change setting an outlet sheet thickness and a roll speed while rolling, by using a prescribed appreciation function to calculate the outlet sheet thickness and the roll speed to minimize the deviation, when an output of a roll driving motor is deviated from a target value. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of rolling a material 1 to be rolled, an actual output of the driving motor 6i for the rolling roll 2i is calculated by an arithmetic unit 7i for the actual output of the motor on each stand, then the deviation between the actual value and the target value is detected by a comparator 8 for the output pattern of motors. The outlet sheet thickness (hi) and the roll speed (vi) of each stand 2i minimizing the deviation is calculated by an outlet sheet thickness and roll speed arithmetic unit 9 according to the appreciation function defined to evaluate said deviations for all the stands. A sheet thickness control device 4i and a roll speed control device 5i are controlled by said calculated value (hi), (vi) as new setting values. In this way, the setting change of the outlet sheet thickness and the roll speed is performed while rolling.</p>
