The max. lifting force of the spring arrangement (13-16) corresponds to the weight of the bath tub (1-5) including the bath water, and the tub in its empty higher position sinks automatically when filled with water to its lower location for entry by the user. Likewise, it rises from that position when the bath water is run off. The supporting link system (6-9A) outside a frame structure (10-12A), rotates when the tub is raised, causing the requisite lifting force to be reduced successively in proportion to the reducing lifting force of the spring arrangement, which pref. comprises a gas spring. |
