This invention provides a natural method for the treatment of canker disease on branch fork of the tree. The treatment method incorporates the use of a turnbuckle that is securely mounted in the fork of the tree where canker disease is present. The turnbuckle is gradually adjusted by 1/8 to 1/4 inch two times each year in order to apply outwards pressure on the tree branch. Increasing the angle of the tree fork will allow the flow of the tree sap to that area, which then allows new-growth bark to thicken and thus, prevent the bark tissue from decaying. When the new-growth bark thickens, it will eventually cover the canker area. |
