PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of being miniaturized with good heat radiation property.SOLUTION: An Electric Control Unit (ECU) is stored in a storage chamber 35 sectioned by butting a motor housing 24 and a gear housing 22. The ECU includes a power module 44 which has a plate-like shape extending in a direction parallel to an axis C1 of a rotary shaft 27 and on which a power element is mounted, and a control substrate on which a control element (electrolytic capacitor) is mounted and which is disposed orthogonally to the axis C1 of the rotary shaft 27. The power module 44 is inserted into an insertion groove of the gear housing 22, and first surface and second surface of the power module 44 are brought into surface contact with an inner wall surface corresponding to the insertion groove 48. |
