PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker and a control program thereof, which detects a temperature of a top plate at the start of heating, sets a threshold value of heating power setting change depending on the temperature of the top plate at the start of heating, and controls heating power such that a temperature of a heated object does not reach a dangerous temperature which causes deformation of the heated object.SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker comprises: a top plate for loading a heated object; heating means arranged below the top plate for inductively heating the heated object by passing a high-frequency current through induction heating coils; a substrate on which inverter circuits for supplying the high-frequency current to the heating means are mounted; control means for controlling the inverter circuits and the heating means; and a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of the top plate. In the induction heating cooker, the temperature sensor detects an initial temperature of the top plate before passing the current through the heating means, and the control means sets depending on the initial temperature, a threshold value for determining whether to change heating power setting of the heating means. |
