PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an imaging apparatus, and an image processing method capable of improving accuracy of distance calculation.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises a distance information generating part and a distance extraction part. The distance information generating part generates: first distance information on a measurement target based on a phase difference between images taken with plural cameras having a first base length; and second distance information on a measurement target based on a phase difference between images taken with plural cameras having a second base length different from the first base length. The distance extraction part extracts the distance from an imaging position to the measurement target on the basis of the first and second distance information.
