PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproduction device and video conversion method having the degree of freedom adapted to the viewing styles of users more than possible before.SOLUTION: The video reproduction device comprises: a video input unit for entering video; a position identification unit for entering information on user position and identifying the position; a displacement amount calculation unit for calculating the amount of user displacement on the basis of the result of the position identification; and a conversion processing unit for performing conversion processing on the video on the basis of the displacement amount. The video conversion method includes: a video input step for entering video; a position identification step for entering information on user position and identifying the position; a displacement amount calculation step for calculating the amount of user displacement on the basis of the result of the position identification; and a conversion processing step for performing conversion processing on the video on the basis of the displacement amount. |
