PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in which an important printing material can be mixed in printing materials of another person because a printing material printed by each user is mixed together in a printer used by many users, and in which a printing material having an important matter printed thereon is left on a paper ejection tray of the printer for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A printing system includes a portable terminal and an information processor connected to a printer, and prints out by the printer according to an electronic mail transmitted from the portable terminal. The information processor develops a file attached to the electronic mail transmitted from the portable terminal into printing data to generate the printing data, and transmits a password indicated by the portable terminal or information included in the electronic mail to the printer as a password of the printing data together with the printing data as a print job when determining the printer designated as a printing object by the electronic mail has a secure printing function. The printer performs a user authentication based on the password of the printing data, and prints out the printing data when the user authentication is successful. |
