PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector capable of reducing consumption of a battery as much as possible in a card insertion completing state in a device on which the card connector is mounted and reliably carrying out wiping when a movable terminal is contacted.SOLUTION: In a card insertion detection switch mechanism of a card connector, a first movable terminal 50 comprises a contact part 52 which comes in contact with a card C when the card C is inserted and a cam part 53 which is inclined to the contact part 52. When the card C is inserted, the card C comes in contact with the contact part 52, so that the first movable terminal 50 is driven and moved away from a second movable terminal 60 to release a contact state between the first and second movable terminals 50 and 60. When the card C is removed, a contact state between the card C and the contact part 52 is released, the first movable terminal 50 is brought into an original state, the cam part 53 comes in contact with the second movable terminal 60, and the second movable terminal 60 comes in contact with the contact part 52 after wiping is carried out to the cam part 53. |
