The present invention provides a device for treating impurities, comprising a impurity removal tank for removing impurities included in incoming water and supplying the incoming water having impurities removed to a settling tank; a settling tank for receiving the incoming water having impurities removed, settling sand in the incoming water, discharging the incoming water having sand removed, and transferring the settled sand to a sand washing tank; and a settled sand washing tank for collecting the incoming water bypassed by the impurity removal tank, washing the sand transferred from the settling tank, discharging the impurities and the settled sand to a purification member and an inclined recovery chute, and supplying the incoming water having the impurities and sand removed to the settling tank, thereby recirculating the incoming water. The present invention reduces maintenance costs and facilitates maintenance because the device for treating impurities conducts the removal of impurities and the removal of settled sand simultaneously by including the impurity removal tank, the settling tank and the settle sand washing tank, and includes a circular settling tank having a small area and excellent settling efficiency. |
