<p>Disclosed is a communication method comprising: receiving a first paging message transmitted by a mobility management entity, where the first paging message comprises the number information of a narrowband where a user equipment remains at (S11); determining, on the basis of the first paging message, the narrowband where the user equipment currently remains at, and transmitting a second paging message on the narrowband to the user equipment (S12). Also disclosed are the user equipment, a base station, and a communication system. Employment of embodiments of the present invention allows, in a scenario in a broadband system having divided multiple narrowbands to support accessing for a narrowband terminal, for implementation of targeted paging of the narrowband terminal, thus reducing waste of resources.</p> |
