PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute data transfer.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device for discharging liquid from a head in response to data transmitted from a system comprises: a first data transmission line of a system side; a second data transmission line of a head side; a bridge for performing data conversion between the first data transmission line and the second data transmission line; a memory controller connected to the first data transmission line; a memory connected to the memory controller; and a plurality of head controllers that is connected to the second transmission line and is provided with direct memory access controllers. The bridge transmits requests less than the number of the head controllers that are the requests from the plurality of head controllers to the memory controller via the first transmission line at predetermined time intervals. |
