<p>The present invention relates to a secondary battery, and the secondary battery (100) according to the present invention, comprises: an electrode assembly (110) comprising an anode plate (113), a cathode plate (115), and a separator (117); and an external shell material (130) provided with a sealing portion (137), which is sealed along the edges so as to accommodate the electrode assembly (110) therein, and a hole (139) which penetrates the sealing portion (137), wherein gas is discharged by unsealing the sealing portion (137) around the hole (139) when excessive gas is produced inside of the external shell material (130), thereby preventing the secondary battery (100) from exploding.</p> |
