PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having good workability with a narrow pitch and a low profile, capable of securely pressing an FPC40 or an FFC to a contact portion 22 of a contact 14 with a slider 16, without damaging the strength of each part, the specification, etc.SOLUTION: The low profile can be achieved by: providing a resilient portion 34 and a fulcrum portion 32 between the contact portion 22 and a connection portion 24 of the contact 14; arranging the contact portion 22, the resilient portion 34, the fulcrum portion 32 and the connection portion 24 substantially in a crank shape; providing a press reception portion 20 extending from the resilient portion 34 at a position facing the connection portion 24; providing a pressing portion 36 communicating with the slider 16 in a longitudinal direction; and mounting the slider 16 on a housing 12 to enable rotation of the pressing portion 36 between the connection portion 24 and the press reception portion 20 of the contact 14. |
