PURPOSE: A method and a device for supplying materials in a press process are provided to prevent the materials from being separated by supplying the materials to a processing mold while a clamping unit holds one end of the material, supports it in a support rail, supplies it to the processing mold. CONSTITUTION: A method for supplying materials (300) in a press process comprises a step of loading the material, a step of arraying the material, a step of shooting a rail, a step of supplying the material, a step of retracting the rail, and a step of removing scraps. In a step of shooting the rail, a support rail in an arrayed state progresses and the end of the support rail is attached to a processing mold (210) which is set in a press (200) to easily supply the materials to the processing mold. In a step of supplying the material, a clamping unit is moved while the front end of the support rail is attached to the processing mold and the material is put as the processing amount to the processing mold. In a step of retracting the rail, the support rail is retracted and the clamping unit and the support rail are simultaneously retracted when the process of the materials is completed. |
