PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive a desired profile quickly from a broadcast signal of DVB-T2 mixed with different profiles, and to demodulate the desired profile.SOLUTION: The receiver includes a gain supply unit which supplies a gain for adjusting the power of an intermediate frequency OFDM signal obtained from a broadcast signal conforming to DVB-T2 standard, mixed with multiple profiles and received by a tuner, a position detection unit for detecting the head positions of a frame corresponding to the multiple profiles, respectively, and a time constant changing unit which changes a time constant for specifying a time interval, used by the tuner for calculating a gain on the basis of the power of an intermediate frequency OFDM signal outputted from the tuner, depending on the profile of a frame when the head position of a frame is detected. |
