In the present invention, a scanning sequence calculation unit (23), with which a display control circuit (200) is equipped, determines addresses sequentially such that when multiple lines which are the same display content exist, the respective scanning signal lines are selected simultaneously. A scanning sequence setting unit (24) controls an address output unit (26) such that the scanning signal lines are selected in that sequence, thereby controlling a digital image signal DV that is output from an output-use frame memory (22). The number of variations in the potential of the video signal lines is reduced exactly by the portion of the lines which are selected simultaneously, so the power consumption for driving the video signal lines is reduced. |
