Producing an active substance containing foam comprising a protein, a fat and/or a wax, comprises: (a) providing the fat and/or wax (fatty acid ester component), and the protein component, and introducing at least one pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic agent in the fatty acid ester component; (b) mixing the protein component and the fatty acid ester component optionally by adding water, so that water and the total amount of protein component and fatty acid ester component are present in a wt. ratio of 1:1-20:1; and (c) introducing a gas into the resulting mixture for producing the foam. Producing an active substance containing foam comprising a protein, a fat and/or a wax, comprises: (a) providing the fat and/or wax (fatty acid ester component), and the protein component, and introducing at least one pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic agent in the fatty acid ester component, where (i) the fatty acid ester component and/or the protein component comprises a foam-stabilizing component comprising a foam stabilizing protein in the protein component and/or a foam stabilizing substance in the fatty acid ester component, (ii) at least the fatty acid ester component is of biogenic origin, and (iii) the protein component and the fatty acid ester component are present in a wt. ratio of 1:10-10:1; (b) mixing the protein component and the fatty acid ester component optionally by adding water, so that water and the total amount of protein component and fatty acid ester component are present in a wt. ratio of 1:1-20:1, and the amount of the fatty acid ester component in the resulting mixture is greater than 3 wt.%; and (c) introducing a gas into the resulting mixture for producing the foam. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a composition for producing the active substance containing foam comprising the fatty acid ester component, the protein component, an active substance and water; and (2) the active substance containing foam produced by the above method and/or by introducing gas into the composition. |
