PURPOSE: A method for preparing beta-indolyl ester compounds using chiral palladium is provided to effectively manufacture an optically active material with high optical purity. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing beta-indolyl ester compounds of chemical formula 5 using a chiral palladium catalyst comprises a step of reacting beta, gamma-unsaturated alpha-keto phosphonate compounds of chemical formula 3 with indole compounds of chemical formula 4 under the presence of the chiral palladium catalyst. The chiral palladium catalyst is a compound of chemical formula 1 or optical isomer thereof of chemical formula 2. |
