PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a back beam of a vehicle is provided to simultaneously increase stability about an impact test and a design freedom through a circular back beam in which GMT and a steel material are united. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a back beam of a vehicle comprises the following steps: molding a GMT(glass mat thermoplastics) raw material into a slide(1) shape by putting the GMT raw material into a mixer; forming a member material by laminating a stay material of steel material between the GMT which is cut into the size of the back beam; pressuring the member material into a circular shape on a mold(11) within a chamber(10) of high temperature and high pressure; and cooling the back beam after separating the back beam from the mold. |
