The present invention relates to a home appliance including a selection unit receiving a diagnosis command of the home appliance from a user, a memory storing diagnosis data of the home appliance, a control unit processing the diagnosis data stored in the memory to generate packets according to the diagnosis command input through the selection unit, a converter generating a frame comprised of combinations of symbols, each corresponding to four different carrier frequencies based on data forming the packet according to a QFSK method (quadrature frequency shift keying), and an audio sound output unit outputting an audio sound according to a modulation signal generated by the converter.
