FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing fluorine-containing surfactants of general formula RC(=O)CHSOOH, where Rassumes the values: CFO(CFCFO)CFfor m = 1-3; or CFO[CF(CF)CFO]CF(CF) for n = 0, 1, 2, by treating methylperfluoroalkyl ketone of formula RC(O)CHwith chlorosulphonic acid ClSOOH according to the schemefollowed by removal of hydrogen chloride from the reaction products.
