<p>The present invention relates to a charger for electric vehicles. One aspect of the embodiment of the charger for electric vehicles according to the present invention indicates that the charger supplying currents from commercial power supply source to an electric vehicle comprises: a connector boned to the electric vehicle; a plug connected to a socket of the commercial power supply source for charging the battery of the electric vehicle; a switching unit selectively applying or blocking the supply of currents from the commercial power supply source to the electric vehicle depending on the temperature of the charger by being controlled by the control unit; a display unit showing the information on the motion of the charger; and a control unit controlling the motion of the charger.
