A seat for a vehicle, wherein a dynamic damper (D) is constituted of: a damper case (17) configured from first and second case half bodies (17A, 17B) which are separably joined to each other and which define a damper chamber (17C) between each other; a weight (15) housed within the damper chamber (17C); and an elastic member (16) interposed between the weight (15) and the inner surface of the damper chamber (17C) so as to permit the weight (15) to vibrate, and wherein the damper case (17) has formed thereon mounting sections (24A, 24B) which are mounted to the frame (12) of the seat (S). As a result of this configuration, the seat device for a vehicle enables the weight and the elastic member to be replaced in order to adjust or change the vibration damping characteristics, and the seat device also enables the damper case to be easily mounted to the seat. |
