The present invention relates to a pressure retarded osmosis membrane and a manufacturing method thereof. The pressure retarded osmosis membrane of the present invention optimizes the high flow rate by specifying a pore structure of a polymer supporter layer formed on a non-woven fabric layer, and is a complex membrane structure with strong pressure resistance by forming a polyamide layer on the polymer supporter layer. The pressure resistance in the pressurizing condition with the pressure of least 10 kg/cm2 is secured, and the high flow rate capacity is fulfilled to use the pressure retarded osmosis membrane as an exclusive membrane for pressure retarded osmosis and for osmosis power generation.
