PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyamide resin composition excellent in mechanical strength, having high flame retardance, and excellent in moldability, and a molded article good in surface appearance.SOLUTION: A glass filament-reinforced flame retardant polyamide resin composition includes: 100 pts.mass of a polyamide resin composition pellet having a length of 5-15 mm; 0.01-0.5 pts.mass of higher fatty acid metal salt (C); and 1-10 pts.mass of a coloring master batch pellet (D). The polyamide resin composition pellet includes: 30-50 pts.mass of a polyamide resin composition (A) including 50-90 mass% of polyamide 66/6I copolymer (a-1) having a sulfuric acid relative viscosity (&eegr;r) of 1.80-2.50, 9-35 mass% of a bromine-based flame retardant (a-2), and 1-15 mass% of antimony oxide (a-3); and 50-70 pts.mass of a glass filament (B) having a TEX number of 3,000-4,000 (TEX), an average filament diameter of monofilament of 15-18 μm, and a length in the pellet of 5-15 mm. |
