PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thin-film solar cell, the method capable of carrying out a dividing process in a short processing time with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a thin-film solar cell comprises: a film formation step for forming a back electrode layer on a substrate; a first dividing process for forming division grooves on the back electrode layer so as to divide it into a plurality of back electrode layer pieces; a film formation step for forming a light absorbing layer on the plurality of back electrode layer pieces; and a second dividing step for forming division grooves on the light absorbing layer so as to divide it into a plurality of light absorbing layer pieces. In the second dividing step, forming positions of a first division groove and a last division groove out of the division grooves on the back electrode layer pieces formed in the first dividing step are detected by detection means so that processing positions of the division grooves on the light absorbing layer are determined on the basis of the positions of the first and last division grooves thus detected. |
