PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transformer for which a wide installation space required when an insulation case is externally mounted is not required, since a post-mounting process of the insulation cover can be omitted.SOLUTION: In this power transformer having a bobbin 1 around which a winding 2 is wound, and a core 7 fitted to the bobbin 1, the insulation cover 8 for covering the core 7 is rotatably provided on the bobbin 1, actuating pieces 8d for rotating the insulation cover 8 to a position for covering the core 7 by getting engaged with the core 7 and rotating when the core 7 is fitted to the bobbin 1 are provided on the insulation cover 8. If the core 7 is fitted to the bobbin 1, the actuating pieces 8d are engaged with the core 7 and rotate, accordingly, the insulation cover 8 rotates to the position for covering the core 7 to cover the core 7, and the post-mounting process of the insulation cover 8 can be thereby omitted, and a wide installation space required when the insulation case is externally mounted is not required. |
