An instrument and a method configured to prepare a penis for implantation of a penile prosthetic. The instrument includes a shaft (22) extending between a distal end and a proximal end, a plunger (24) coupled to and movable relative to the shaft, and a dilation head (26) coupled to a distal end of the plunger and disposed around an exterior of the shaft. The dilation head is movable longitudinally along the shaft.
