The present invention relates to a system and a method for converting 2D image content into 3D image content by automatically converting 2D content such as a movie, a CF, a promotion video, and medical image into the 3D image content. An embodiment of the present invention for achieve the purpose provides the system for converting the 2D image content into the 3D image content comprising a user terminal, a content converting system, and a data communication network. The user terminal selects the 2D image content according to a user operation and displays the 3D image content on a screen. When the user terminal requests converting the 3D image content, the content converting system converts the 2D image content into the 3D image content, and offers the same to the user terminal. The data communication network connects a plurality of random user terminals to the content converting system on the internet.
