PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capless seal which is easy to assemble and increases a degree of freedom in design. SOLUTION: The capless seal includes a shaft tube including a front end and a rear end, a seal receptacle having a print body stored in the rear shaft in such a manner that it is protruded from the rear end of the rear shaft tube by the lead end pressed to the side of the rear shaft, a spring which biases the seal receptacle so that it is stored in the rear shaft from the protruding position from the shaft tube, a cover body which covers the print body by closing the rear end of the rear shaft with the seal receptacle stored in the rear shaft, and the base of the resilient piece on which the cover body is provided and which is attached to the outer circumference of the rear shaft. When the seal receptacle is protruded from the rear end of the rear shaft against the biasing force of the spring, guide ribs, which press so as to contact with the seal receptacle and cause the cover body to spread outside of the rear shaft, are formed on the resilient piece. Preferably, a plurality of resilient pieces are provided on the rear shaft so as to face each other, and a lock mechanism is configured on the rear shaft to allow or prevent the protrusion of the seal receptacle.
