Half tone patterning with skew meshes and repeating cells

This screen system which is used to produce a colored halftone image comprises a plurality of screens where: a) each screen represents different colors or black in the image; b) each screen has a pattern of printing areas defining a minimum mesh; c) each pattern has a parcel of printing areas which repeats throughout the screen; and d) two or more of the screens have different non-orthogonal minimum meshes and have parcels which correspond in shape and size.
